Hi, my name is Mitchell Martin and I want to thank you for considering New Day Properties to buy your home in Alabama. I started this business with the idea to do something more meaningful with my life and as a way to contribute to the local Birmingham community. My family and I understand the struggle of being in both financially and emotionally tough situations, and now we have the ability to help homeowners with a variety of different problems, like foreclosure, divorce, probate, and much more. That’s why we started New Day Properties.

Why the Name New Day Properties?

After a couple of years of being a professional real estate investor, I found a strong passion and purpose to help those in need. And after seeing the relief and joy that my work brought to my clients lives, I decided to change my business name to New Day Properties. The sellers I helped were turning the page on an old chapter and starting a brand New Day.

Why the Butterfly?

Obviously, the sun rising over a roof line symbolizes the start of a New Day. But why the butterfly?

The butterfly has always been used to symbolize the transition from one stage of life to another. Transitioning from being an unattractive caterpillar grounded to the earth, to becoming a beautiful butterfly that is free to fly wherever it chooses. And that’s how it feels lots of the time with our clients. They sometimes have some emotional or financial burden that weighs them down so they can’t move forward with life. Then when they are able to sell their house easily and stress-free, they feel freed from that burden and can move on to a brighter New Day.

But, honestly, the real reason we chose to use a butterfly is much more personal to our own struggles and emotional burdens.
